Live the Nepali village life, surrounded by jungle, farmland, and friendly people.
Located near the India-Nepal border, Chitwan-Madi Jungle Village offers volunteers an unforgettable opportunity to immerse themselves in authentic rural Nepali culture. Hosted by a local Nepalese family, volunteers experience daily life, contribute to local development, and explore the surrounding natural beauty.

Traditional Farming: Learn and help with rice planting, animal care, and eco-farming techniques.
Community Engagement: Assist in the local school or share your own skills—such as arts and crafts, cooking, health education, or construction.
Eco-Tourism: Join jungle walks, picnics, and eco-projects being developed with local families.
Needs Research: Help identify and report on challenges in the community for future development work.
Optional Excursion: You can also link your stay with a visit to Chitwan National Park—home to rhinos, elephants, and Bengal tigers (separate cost).

Volunteer in Sindhupalchok – Himalayan Foothills Village
Serve where help is most needed. Be part of the rebuilding and healing.
Sindhupalchok was one of the hardest-hit regions during Nepal’s 2015 earthquake. Villages like Gunsa are located in the breathtaking Himalayan foothills but struggle with poverty, lack of infrastructure, and limited agricultural resources.
What You’ll Experience:
Hands-On Building Work: Help with construction projects, like building ceilings, homes, or church structures.
Daily Village Life:
Women Volunteers: Work alongside local women—cooking, child care, field work, and water collection.
Men Volunteers: Assist in terraced farming, animal care, and physical labor.
Skill Sharing: Offer workshops in:
Healthy cooking & nutrition
Craft-making (knitting, woodworking)
Small business ideas
Community Exploration: Hike to nearby villages, observe challenges, and suggest solutions for long-term development.
Note: This is a remote, rugged area. Travel can be challenging, especially during monsoon. Accommodation is basic, but the cultural exchange and service impact are incredibly rewarding.
